CAMILLA

Camilla grew up in Drammen, Norway and started playing the piano at the age of 16. She played several concerts with various bands as a keyboardist at the beginning of her 20s, including "White Shining Shoes", who became the headliner for popular artists such as DDE and the Jonas Fjeld Band on their visit to Drammen. In 2019 Camilla released two debut singles "Selfmade World" and "Fallen Leaves" in collaboration with bassist Finn Tore Tokle, drummer Eivind Kløverød and producer Georg Storhaug. This was the beginning of her interest in popular music and passion for songwriting.

During 2019 to 2023, Camilla has played with young upcoming artists such as Cupid Girl, ANINE and Rebekka Teigen, and written a lot of new music that she will release in the coming years.

Her music is influenced by artists ranging from First Aid Kit and m83, all the way to Elton John and Tina Turner. Along with her both modern and vintage sound, she also uses traditional instruments such as violin and trumpet. Her expression lies somewhere in between the melancholic and the hopeful.
